At VSU, it's us vs. Virginia Union (we always whup their butts in football, lol.) Our other rival is Norfolk State for the annual Battle of the Bands/Labor Day Classic.

I don't really know who CAU's rival is in terms of athletics but it seems to me that we're constantly being held up in comparison to Spelman and Morehouse. Not really fair cuz all 3 institutions have something special to offer its students. Of course I think CAU's better though....what can I say?? I'm biased 8-)

I'm mad i never come in here and saw that (this is actually my first post in here i think) lol. But you are right about all 3 schools offering something. I look at the AUC as one big university with different colleges focusing on different things. The AUC would be wack if just one (one more) school was missing. You see how much things changed since Morris Brown went under (in a weird way i think it brought us all a lil closer, thats just my opinion tho).

   I was just jokin'!! Don't be at me. Seriously I see your point though. Although I haven't been in the AUC at time when Morris Brown was in its prime, I can still sense the void. I think it allowed us to bond because it was a dose of reality. Like, this lil universe we live in known as the AUC can be threatened. For me, it's a reminder to never become complacent. Along the lines of all the schools bringing something to the table--sooo true. One thing I'll always admire a/b Morehouse&Spelman is that a sense of history&responsibility is instilled in students from day ONE of orientation. And its carried on throughout ones matriculation. Well that's my lil thoughts for the evening. 8-) Peace&Blessings....
