My package is coolI got the Legacy scholarship, so my tuition is paid forThey still gave me loans though, so I'm still trying to get some more scholarshipsWhat made you choose Fisk?
They have a Nurisng program with Vanderbilt. Its small. I like the faculty. They were faster than Howard and tried to help me more.
I have a question. How good are the cheerleaders?I know I have to be a second semester freshman to try out but is it worth it?
WELCOME TO THE BISON FAMILY!
The cheerleaders at Howard are complicated...there is a Blue Squad and a White Squad (I dont know the difference so dont ask LOL!). And the football cheerleaders are different from the basketball cheerleaders.
Freshmen have cheered before...there have been try-outs held in August in past years for freshmen students but I'm sure if they still do them.
There are a few clips on You Tube for you to check out:

I wanted myself to come Howard. My girl Mina going, now Im at Fisk all alone!
But I sure Fisk is fine for now lol.
Its cool...You should like Fisk. Tennessee State and Meharry are the other HBCUs in Nashville so you'll see others from Black colleges in the city.
Plus, like you said, Vanderbilt is a good choice for grad school and is also in the area.

I was looking into Meharry for Medical School...but if I'm not fed up with Howard I might stay there. I didn't know it was an HBCU until recently either though.
HEEEEEEEEEEEEY has anyone heard anything about meal plans??? Does anyone know when they will come and........
I'm official slated to Howard. Sent in my dues just got to get my medical files straight. Too bad I'm going to get in debt over these loans and stuff

It’s good to see that you are coming to Tennessee. Fisk University and Vanderbilt are good universities. Nashville is home to 3 HBCU’s (TSU, Fisk University, Meharry Medical College) and several other Universities/Colleges (Vanderbilt, Belmont, Lipscomb, Trevecca, Nashville School of Law, MTSU), which means you will encounter several young adults.
