What's up people? I go to Alabama State U, and I think the SWAC conference is liver than the MEAC. Tell me what yall think. Holla at ya boy 205 representin!
The only reason the black world has heard about the MEAC, is because BET is located in an area with an abundance of HBCU's, so they don't have to pay as much to travel to get to them. When Steve McNair was bustin' out, ESPN didn't know nothing about the MEAC, and didn't care. I never saw so many limos and media vans/buses in one spot. All I know is, in '92-'93, when Steve was cutting loose, you couldn't pay BET to put a HOWARD game on. It was all about the SWAC, and, in my opinion, should still be. I'll give my MEAC folks their props for both athletics, and academics. But Alcorn should get some props too. We may not be on BET now, but we were in US News and World Reports for being in the Top Ten in regards to sending minority students to medical, dental, and vet school! We are small, and in the sticks, BUT MIGHTY, MIGHTY ALCORN!

Oh and by the way, people PLEASE dont' take things said on here too seriously...(talking to the small 2% of the people who get heated over this discussion) we ALL go to HBCU's and there are reasons why MEAC is betta than SWAC at some things and SWAC is betta than MEAC in some things...

we gon do it like this, from an objective point of view
I grew up in SWAC country in Dallas, TX, home of the 2nd biggest SWAC game, Prairie View A&M vs Grambling, and the games be crunk BUT that is because football games are billed as a must see event esp. halftime for the battle of the bands. I attend FAMU where we have some off the chain games too, but the location of the game and the history between the schools determine how crunk the game is. I know for a fact that the crunkest games at PV, Grambling, & Southern is when they play each other because of the location most times and other times because of who they are playing. For FAMU we have people that will miss a home game but they will never miss when we play Tennessee State, because it is in ATL, or bcc, cause that is our archrival and it is in Orlando.
So each conference has a couple of schools who games are the crunkest but let's be real, 12 schools vs 9 schools, the jury is still out.
