Dang Fe Baby, I havent seen you post in a minute! It's good to see and hear that you have adjusted to Howard so well, so early.
Thanks for keeping it real with your post! In the long run, folks will appreciate that more than being fed lies and untruths.
Hopefully in due time you will grow to love Howard as much as I have. Good luck with the rest of the semester! Oh, and COOK HALL is definitely going to win Res Fest
lol. Hey theTruth, thanx for the alumni love. I hope i'll grow to love HU as well. But they do feed you lies before you come to Howard... I remember I was in the cafe eating breakfast and there was a tour going on and the tourguide was like "the cafe food is great and we have a party in here @ the cafe every Friday! It's all a big party." I wanted to yell out THIS GIRL IS LYING! lol. It's crazy how you hear so much but once you get here you learn a lot of it was untrue.Yea so that's my lil insight... and theTruth u sure about ResFest? lol....u WERE wrong about Howard winning the Howard vs. Hampton game because we did in fact LOSE. u had me all hyped lol... i ain't trusting your judgement. Sooo.... the QUAD is definitely going to win ResFest. And jamaicanshawty to answer your ? HU was actually pretty good with my accpetance letter... i think I got it early, like Dec. 15 or something.
Dayum girl, you taking me back to 12th grade (which wasnt that long ago cuz I aint old!) ANYWAY, I think they should send you a notification about 2-3 weeks after they have received ALL of your materials.
I'm not too sure about how admissions works but I THINK they wont process your app until they have everything (app, recs, transcript, essay, etc.).
If you have not received a correspondence in 3 weeks, call the Admissions Office.
I sent everything myself my transcript, essay ERRTHANG lol they said to expidite the procedure i shouldve let my counselor do it but i didnt trust her with that so i did it myself....BUT thanks

Thats how bad reputations about schools form. Howard is NOT a party school, but Howard does have students who know HOW to party. There is a difference

And never, ever mention hampton....I hate that school...
I have a kinda random q....do the closets in the dorm rms have those slot things so you coulda put a combo lock or a pad lock on the closet to keep it closed...if not how do u protect things that you can't keep on you at all times...like printers, laptops etc.....not tryna keep my stuff out even around a roomie...and do u often hear of pplz things gettin stolen from their dorms? Has that eva happened to ne1 here?
P.S I dont even remember if this was asked but umm for the girls dorms in the Quad which hall is better in room size???? Also how is the closet space ??

However, if you do decide you want to lock your items in a safe place I would suggest you bring a trunk (like the ones they sell in Target and WalMart) and just put a combination or pad lock on it.
