I have never so upset in my life. My mother just got off the phone with A&T financial aid. They only gave me a lil bit over $2,000 (including loans!). I have to come up with $6,500 by Friday or find another school.
Do you have to be dirt-poor and living in cardboard boxes to get a decent financial aid package?

for some reason it just seems like alomst EVERYBODY is having trouble with financial aide lately. but like everybody else on the board is saying, don't get discouraged. i 'll send a prayer up for you in faith

You lucky you getting that, A&T is giving me Nothing as in $0.00 of aid. I also get no federal aid (which means no work study). I'm working directly off Loans which all but freshman year will be in my name. YOu will be aiight, and to answer your question, yes, yes you do :wink:
that happened to me i A&T was not my first choice.......you were in a better position than i was.......i needed 10,000.........

lo, yall, this post is OLD! I got my loan, i go to A&T now. I'm enjoying my break now. I prolly won't be there fall 04 though :wink:
