Well from my band prospective:
The SWAC and the MEAC are like comparing apples and oranges...you dont compare them. "The Force" is gonna come ready and we're gonna do what WE do best. I can't wait to see JSU...I've never seen them live but heard them many times. We'll see you in Orlando though...good luck.

i have not heard Hampton's band yet..... i will not get to hear too much of them this year because i will be on the field..but it will be crunk in orlando..
Yo Wug, I understand we are the first game of the season, an anticipated matchup, and a hype one at that, but you might as well go ahead and start counting on whipping up on some other HBCUs cuz it won't happen to the REAL BLUE & WHITE. Even if you all luck up or win by a fluke, I assure you IT WON'T BE ANYWHERE CLOSE TO A BEATDOWN, and this coming from a school who recently has beaten 3/4 of the last SWAC schools played a total of 5 times, so as you can see right now.....WE ARE NOT IMPRESSED.
Nonetheless, the football and band matchups will be HYPE the whole way through, don't sleep on the one of the few consistent MEAC powerhouse teams, a sizeable away crowd, and a hype, crunk band hailing from VA.
Im tryna go to this 2...hope I see mad fellow Pirates in the HOUSE!! Can't wait to see those J-Settes, and of course the lovely and talented E-Fire!!
