Since there's been mad posts about what first attracts you to a dude, let's flip it around... instead of what first gets your attention, what keeps it? Once you meet a guy, what lets you know he's someone you would want to get to know more about?
And the other way around - what would immediately turn you off?

KEEPS: When he respects me and himself. Always know the right things to say. Knows how to take control. Sees me as his equal. Not boring...by that I mean never want to go out and spend time together. he's always honest even if he think it will hurt me. Is faithful. Always have nice shoes...just something about shoe. Excellent hygiene. And most importantly intelligent.
TURNOFFS: He has no common sense. Disrespectful to others and/or himself. GOLD TEETH! Too conrolling...Not controlling enough. Unfaitful...liar....stinks.....BORING *yawns*.... suck on himself...uncaring...I can go on and on!
what keeps me: intelligence (books smarts as well as streets smarts)....a great sense of humor, ability 2 make me laugh sincerely...respectfulness (<--that a word?)....sarcasm tendancies, lol...and good conversationalist...& him havin a lot of opinions 2 different things (& tha ability 2 discuss or debate about 'em) is a plus...what shakes me: ignorance...too much seriousness....disrespectfulness....too much passiveness (truthfully, i think if i had ta choose between a passive dude & an aggressive one, i'd choose tha aggressive one...shoot, i need someone wit a backbone, dammit)....& constant dishonesty...
keeps:makes me laugh nice smile all his teeth, look in to my eyes and not at my 44 DD's
gone: Table manners and his agressiveness if a **** dont know which fork to use and he eats like a pig thats a big turn off!
Attracts: Making me laugh, being real, intelligence, not having to be the life of the show, a nice smile, a lil bit of cockiness....
Repels: Having to have ALL the attention, being misleading, trying to be a player (u can't play a ****), ****, close-mindedness, not having any goals...
Gotta luv a man who knows how to respect a woman, has goals and is out to achieve them, good relationship with his mother, intelligent, dresses nicely, civilized but ready to throw down for his girl, nice smile a must, knows how to give a girl her space and knows how to make me laugh.
Any liars, cheaters, jobless, goal-less, cocky, dirty, academic probation **** negroes need not apply :evil:

Being as tho Im very difficult to please that's kinda hard 2 explain...
What keeps my attention..is how he is overall..like once we've been on that first date..and he plays it cool..doesnt push for much..****like that.
Shows me that he's interested but..kinda plays mind games at the same time..Basically if he lets me kno that he's the H.N.I.C and i can't run ovah him then thats a good sign
I don't like it when he calls 2 much..but i don't like it when he doesnt call enough..I don't want 2 see em everyday..but i do want 2 spend time with em

Intrests- have things in common, gentlemen, respects his mother, sense of humor, likes to conversate about anything,not close minded, i cant deal with negative people.
Im out the door- mind games,thinks he a ****,tryna talk to my friends (get ya own),we always have to "talk"(it aint that must talking in the world. if its like then then we needa split. but that's my feeling on the topic.

Usually, after meeting a guy...I have nothing to go off besides conversation and common interest.If he appears to be a nice guy with a sincere heart and right intentions,I would definitely want to find out more.
Turn Offs :arrow: Disrespect ,too aggressive,Pick up lines,materialistic and many more.
