He has to take his rightful place as being the head of the household. We will not get married until he can prove that he can hold that position. I can live with the fact of earning more than him (before marriage)and being more educated than him. But only for a little while. I have children and him and I are the examples for them.
As Long as each is contributing, it's not a problem. A strong family as a whole would do some remarkable things in our society. Of course, I agree with the idea with the man being at the head of the household but would it really make a difference if your wife made 10,000 more?
i could make more money and have a higher educational level if we were compatible spiritually and intellectually. i know some einsteins who didn't go farther than trade school
