If this is one of the people that he is going to seek guidance from, we have a right to know that he's getting his info from the correct sources. That kind of stuff gets us stuck going implementing wars incorrectly. He didn't explain himself which means that when the Republicans dig down in that a$$ (if you thought this was our work, you're sorely mistaken... you haven't seen us get on that a$$ yet) come August, he's going to get run in the ground.
Well, he did a good job defending his stance on his pastor's statements. Like he said in his speech, "Don't everyone has a pastor who says things that they don't agree with in the pulpit?" Everyone has someone, that is close to them, that might say things that they don't agree with. Like Jay Leno said last night on his show, "Everyone has a crazy uncle that says stuff that you might not agree with." That doesn't mean that you disown them. Also, what pastor Wright said is what most people say in the African American communities. Black people talk in their barber shops, beauty salons, in their homes, etc about racial injustice. I guess this is all a shock to white people because they didn't know black people discuss issues of this nature in their communities. If they turned on BET when they have the Rainbow Coalition on, they would know black people discuss racial injustice strongly. They could turn on the WORD network also and find the same type of debates.
Also, you stated that Obama didn't explain himself. What more can he explain? He said all that he needed to say during that speech. What do people want the man to do? He got up and talked for about an hour and now it is time for him to move on and quit discussing this stuff.
Also, I didn't say that the Republicans did this to Obama. I said that Hilary's campaign probably leaked this to the media. Anyway, stuff is already coming out on McCain so I don't think that McCain can do too much running Obama in the ground. Besides, Obama won't have to work too hard, in August, because McCain's own party will do a good job trashing him on their own.
