HU pictorial directory Posted on 06-15-2004

For those of you who received a letter in the mail about new students being able to put their photo and information in a directory, who is going to do it? It seems like a koo idea to be able to see a lot of the new students and learn a little about them and to have the pictorial directory only cost $20.88, so I'm going to go ahead and get it and put one of my senior pictures in there.

i paid for it, and i'm just now getting my book (the summer going into my sophomore year). Sad huh? They didn't even tell us where we could get it, and i didn't find out until the end of the year, and by then i was too busy to care. So they just mailed to me this summer. The book is aight. Most of the freshman in it are people that i see around campus alllll the time, so why bother with lookin at folks old highschool pics? I say just save ya money for a book u can study from or sumthin.

I'm glad you said that cuz now I don't feel so bad about losing the paper. I couldn't find the form so I missed the postmark deadline. Oh well...no big deal.

Do the yearbooks have people's pictures in them? Or is it just like a scrapbook with random pictures and event photos?

the yearbook mainly has all the senior pics, students who were nominated for "who's who among college students", organization group pics, and pics highlighting some of the year's events. It's not like your highschool book where everybody gets to take a pic for free. U gotta pay to have your individual pic taken, so most don't do it. Well...i didn't.

I would love to do that myself. Is it hard for freshmen to join the yearbook staff?
