Can we go back to the old forums?
Hi, just wondering if we can go back to the way the old forums were set up. Obviously, the new forum design has ran everyone away. Maybe the feeling of being anonymous is gone, and that is why people aren't posting anymore. For one, you have a big picture by everyone's name and where they are from and a link to their profile page. People might just want to post anonymously without anyone knowing who they are. The old forums were separate from the HBCU profiles, and you didn't know who was posting. It was funner that way. Anyway, this is just my opinion. I know it took a while for the HBCU technology team to come up with this new design, but people aren't posting anymore.
My fam is hilarious! (Shoutout to my girl SMC for thinking that something is wrong with the site if even CNels left! lol I didn't know you cared :winkiss
But like TSU said the job had blocked me and trying to keep up with everything here and taking care of home, logging on after hours would have been too much. ...now, they've unblocked us! 
So we'll see how long this lasts.
But onto the topic at hand, I understood the change that was made "integrate the HBCUConnect SITE with the HBCUConnect FORUMS". The forums was bringing traffic to HBCUConnect that the site wasn't and it was like two different worlds. So what they did was bring the 2 together where you didn't have to login twice. Logon once and you can access all that the HBCUConnect brand has to offer.
Personally, I like the old forum setup better also. With the lead folks trying to get HBCUConnect to be more along the lines of Facebook, I doubt the old forums will be back.

as the rest of ya'll I want the old forums too. I'll see what I can do. 
I don't think the site is making you twitch...it's that rock! 
So aside from saying "everything" what specific features would you like to see returned to the forums? ****? Anonymity? _______? Let me know, gimme something to take to "The big time folks"
What I do like about this site is the ability to post in the forums on the most popular topics where everyone can join in the convo, not just your friends, like FB (I dont think FB has this, not sure, not a huge fbooker). I used to like the PM set up, *sigh*
. I love the signature thing. The smilies rock...I wish my blkberry had those. lol. Umm, I like knowing when new members join. Even if I don't know them, I'd like to say howdy.
Now, I would like to see, taking it from FB, the whole 'search for friends" thing. Its much easier on FB to search for people. The friends in common thing is cool.
This is all I can think of right now. 
P.S. Maybe they can make the site pretty. Choosing the right fonts is everything. And why can't I see my picture and some other peoples pictures? I need to know what I look like! lol
