Ok I been waitin for Ms. McGill to call me back or get back to me...but for 2 months she been 2 busy and won't even answer her phone....
HELP ME!!!!!!!
AWWW i went thru this same thing... LISTEN TO ME: Yes they do offer you a 20,000 Direct Parent Loan... and I know they say cost of Attendence for a yr is 23,000...whatever! You cost of attendence depends...so they average everybodys up to about 23,000....BUT ALL YOU REALLY NEED is about 17,000-18,000 dollars for your yearly tuition..... My mom and I accepted the 20,000 Dollars in direct Parent loan last yr. and We got back about 5,500 dollars in refund Checks .....So basically what every money is left over they HU did not use for your tuition, fees, books, and housing...Then they give it back to you in a check with either your name or your parent name on it....... Now What I recommend is that you try to obtain a private loan from an outside lender like Sallie Mae, Fannie Mae, etc...with those loans you can request a specific amount...like 17,550.....there for when it comes time for refund checks you wont get as much money back b/c there wont be as much money left over.... Yall get me???...Last yr i made a mistake and accepted that 20,000 loan...but now that i have good credit established i'm getting loans in my name for only 16,000....thats all of my tuition, books, fees, and housing add up too.....plus i subtracted my 500 scholarships and 600 grant for next yr........
