Cosign, there is no need to change the way you talk or what you do. Of course people from other places are going to have their own slang, but all you should do is be yourself. I'm from Cali also and I use hella and hecka and that's not going to change because I'm relocating somewhere else. Only time you need to care about not using your slang is when you're in your English class.

ohhhh trust this! you're going from 1 coast to another,you're gonna lose, if you have one,you're cali accent and start using different slang....it happened to my **** :evil: i went from ny to florida and started talking like them i was able to catch myself though....my cousin that goes to fam has a little country accent, and she's from JERSEY!!! so it happens...

and Hella. They looked at us funny as hell we were
in the club jumpin around when they played Bia Bia.
