Before I came to Howard I wish i knew.... Drew Hall was a sauna. There is never a guarentee that the elevators will work. Books in the bookstore are hella overpriced  The food in the Annex Cafe is better than the food in Blackburn, even though it comes from the same company. Homecoming can break a brotha's pockets. Everything at HU is a process. (not just greek life) Thats all for now....feel free to add.

I don't have a answer to that yet, but considering your interests when you take freshman english make push to get Nina Bonner because she turns one of her sections into a creative writing class.

There's alwayz some kind of open mic or cypher going on. If not on campus, then please believe there are PLENTY of options in DC. DC is full of lil cafes & nooks where u can hear good poetry, just about any day of the week. Try this lil poetry nite at Mocha Hut located on U street on Thurs. evenings, sponsored by Droopy, a HU alumn and tight poet. And if u go, request his piece "Why Do I like You?" or "Destiny's Child"...i swear, u will be dyin
