For all of those in the class of '05 and below, if you haven't been to the school of your choice yet, go....It is such an awesome experience. I just got back from a tour that went from last Sun. to this Sun. We went to Clark, Spelman, Morehouse, FAMU, Tuskegee, Southern, and Dillard. Spelman is still my first choice but it was so great to see all of those different campuses and see all of the history and culture and all of the Black students actually doing something with theier lives because I dont see much of that here in Cali. But anywayz, please take my advice, if you have the opportunity to go on a Black college tour or just go individually, GO. You'll definitely be glad you did!!
P.S. I'm available for questions about certain campuses.
what hills?...maybe I don't know because we only actually walked to one building...the other part of the tour we were in the bus and the guide just pointed things out to us. And about Morehouse, some of the girls from our tour went to the bookstore and from what they said, the rumors are true. They said that every one that they saw was **** but I can't say.
yall aint lyin about those damn hills at FAMU...i should know...our band marched their homecoming parade this past year then afterwards we walk TO the campus THROUGH the campus the to Bragg Stadium cuz our charter buses were missing  in those hot arse uniforms too...not to mention it was like 90º with the sun shining bright...but yea...FAMU is a pretty nice school...they're my second choice after Howard
Well, I am glad you all had fun on your tours. I went on a tour my sophmore year in high school and went to some of the same schools you all visited. The tours can be really helpful because that is how I found out I wanted to attend Tuskegee this fall. I really do encourage all classes starting with 05 and below to take them because you may get to the school you always thought you wanted to go to and not like it.
college tours are a very good experience...i went on one my junior year of high school...i visited over twenty hbcu's on the east coast in 8 days...i would recommend people to go on tours if they have the opportunity...i learned alot and was able to see so much...
That's really nice. I'm glad ya'll got to do that. Now I'm hearing some good things about FAMU. Would you encourage someone all the way from NY to attend there? What about Tuskegee and Bethune Cookman? What was the deal with those schools? :?: :?: :?:

As for going from NY to famu...I don't know you will have to just visit and decide if thats a choice you would like. Different people like different things and you just have to see it and decide if its worth it. As for Tuskegee...there campus is very pretty but it was raining on that day so we didn't get to do to much. Bethune Cookman...just visit!!!
