I'm lazy as hell, so I get micros whenever I get the chance. They help me keep my hair up, because its less heat on them when I don't have to curl it every morning or put in rollers everynight (that ish ain't cute when you got cha man over). But I am the worst at taking them bytches out. I mean really. My fingers start going numb, my arm fells like its gonna break off at the joint. I'm not even going to talk about how my back feels scrunched up so I can get a good grib on the braids. I can sit and get them done (as long as they got a comfortable chair...this last hoe wanted me to sit on a wooden stool...bytch are you crazy?)

I had them once and never will i get them again....it only took me 6hrs to get them done..but it took me FOREVER (and i mean forever-3 days) to take them out. I jus dont have that kind of patience-especially considering how small them shyts was. I got pixie braids back in Feb. and even though it took me a lil longer to get them done (8 hrs) , i like how convienient they were and it only took me 6hrs to take them out! So next time im gettin braids-its the cornrolls or pixies for me!

^^^what are pixie braids? I'm trying to get braids also, but I know I don't have patience for micro braids....I don't even like waiting too long to be shapooed. I don't want cornrolls....doesn't look good in an office. And I don't want anything that is going to lock my hair (I'm not ready for that kind of comittment ). This hot weather is making braids a neccesity!

speaking of braids, lemme drop a question in here: What kind of hair do you get for those double strand twist braids? some say synthetic, some say human, but for those who have actually had them, what kind of hair did you use?

I have had micros...and it made my hair grow ALOT...I had them in for like 3 months...ANyways, like everyone said take good care of them wash them spray **** sheen on them, etc... I would suggest when you take them out and are gonna put a relaxer on your hair...after u relax it and shampoo it...use the Motions product CPR....it helps repair after it being braided up for a while, or after swimming in chlorine water, etc...Any Motions hair product is good. Thats all I use, and since then all I have seen is positive results...
