As far as roomates go, I don't care who it is. As long as I got a room, I haven't heard anything yet. I'm just now getting my financial aid. $20,000 loan???? HA!! Not this one. But anyway, I call up there like everyday checking on housing. They should know me by now.

GIRL....YES!!! That fat loan is the same thing they offered me. Come to find out, my mom didn't even qualify (memo: watch ya credit folks...it'll catch up to ya), so all i could get was a lil over 6 thou in loans for me. All the rest came from outside scholarships and very giving friends and fam (thank God). Hopefully i can get one from HU for next year, or some more outsides. Cuz HU ain't cheap...and i ain't rich...so there ya have it.

I'm an only child, and never roomed with anyone, so i was dyin to meet new peeps. I said i didn't care either. But trust, u WILL. Some people luck up and get cool people, but the odds are, u will get stuck with just the one chick/dude who was put on this earth to drive u absolutely insane. I found mine last year. Not EVER doin the roomate thing again. Scarred for life! My friends and i don't even wanna room together cuz we know we will end up hatin each other. I have a question...do I have to wait for my Fin Aid to register 4 my classes?
Last year Howard sent me a paper notifying me of my roommate, but when I got there everything was jacked up so I ended up getting a new one. Luckily, she was very nice and we got along great. She was like my best friend. So I wish all of the upcoming freshmen luck with your roommates!
