Brandy, Quentin Richardson Are Engaged

Singer Brandy and NBA star Quentin Richardson are engaged, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
The Chicago-born L.A. Clippers guard, 24, surprised the Mississippi-born former Moesha star, 25, at a private reception at L.A.'s Century Club attended by both of their families and close friends on Tuesday.
Sweetening the surprise: rose petals decorating the club – and an 11 1/2-carat diamond ring valued at $1 million.
Jeweler Jason Arasheben spent months designing the unique ring – and finished it only 30 minutes before the proposal.
"It was a total surprise for her," says Arasheben, who has designed custom-made jewelry for the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Michael Jackson.
The couple have been dating about nine months. "He is a great guy for her," Brandy's mother, Sonja Norwood, recently told PEOPLE. "I can see the happiness in her."
Yay for Brandy. I dont think she's pregnant again... yet. Anyways, there was a rumour she was pregnant a while ago, obviously not yet. I think people are just hating. :roll:
lol..I dont think anyone is hating, I just think people know she is a good ****, convincing liar...and the fact that she would make up a HUGE lie over sumthing so petty lets people know they cant put nothing past her anymore... :roll:
given the fact that there's an actual ring, and they're families know of this planned marriage, i doubt this one is a sham.
so when's the baby due and do e get to watch again? cuz i need to cancel MTV if that's the case....

u can't really be mad @ or blame Brandy for lying about that...
she probably didn't want to deal with the stress & negative publicity of gettin' knocked-up before marriage...& then the dude possibly being triflin' of all things & maybe not wanna stick around...
i could see her makin' that up to protect her image...it's not the absolute worst thing she coulda lied about...
& it's pretty shady that he would confess that to the world now...
if he thought it was a bad and/or stupid idea, he shoulda never went along with it from jump....now he just tried to play her face...that is so unnecessary...
so yeah - i hope Brandy is forreal w/ this new dude - hope she gets all of the love & happiness she can get...

i still say I could empathize w/ where her head was @ w/ that...
might not've been the best thing for her to do...but i could see where she was comin' from...
especially w/ her mom making the decision or insisting on it - really makes sense when ya think about it like that...being her mother & manager...
but in reading that, ya know what i started thinkin' about...Solange Knowles...when is the truth to her story gonna air??
