Yeah dudes can get stupid. Even at FAMU, most people who identify with bloods more because of where they grew up will pledge Kappa, but those who grew up around crips usually don't pledge Kappa or anything else.
Many of the frat hand signs and hand signs for other orgs are signs that gangs use...This girl in my freshman english class did a presentation on gangs and passed around a book of hand-signs...and I was sitting there like that looks like the Alpha sign...the kappa sign..etc. Its kinda ironic being that a lot of people consider greek orgs as gangs.

The signs that they are throwing up as a "PSI" is most commonly used as a Pitch-Fork for the Gangster Disciplines (GD/Folks) here in Chicago.
So of course when I saw that...I was shocked...because if they threw that up here...regardless if a frat or not...they might be in a WHOLE HEAP of trouble, trouble....trrrroouuubllleeee!

Whats funny is I know a blood who pledged que, because of the whole dog thing but never wears purple. Only fatigues and gold. his jacket is gold with red writing
