dang yall start school late. well as for me my classes been straight, only went to one and the one i went to the teacher was talking bout singing cant touch this in the shower and being run out of his country cuz he lost his election. :? I done already met some cool **** **** up here. i thought maybe i'd be shy when i first came but when u constantly around black folks u can't be shy.

Yeah thats how my 5:30 - 8pm classes were last semester...Most of the time my poli sci professor only made us stay a hour once a week. Now my state and local government professor stayed from 6-8:30 every damn Thursday nite. This semester I scheduled NO NITE CLASSES. I aint feel like staying in a class for no more than an hour and fifteen minutes.
Yea last semester i had Chemistry every wednesday from 5:30-9:40pm....yea u read it right...with only a 10min break...and she would make us stay till at least 9:30 :? Thank God thats over with......
Ill get back @ you next wednesday on the first day of classes.
But the people @ ASU i been talkin to tell me they don't think ASU is for them, but they'll get over it...

Seemed like everything just kept goin' wrong yesterday, man...
1st class (Afro-American Hist. Since 1877) was str8, as previously-mentioned...
then it was like everything else went wrong after that...
me, two or three girls, & this dude waited in our 12:00 Media History class 4 15 mins. for our teach 2 show up (she's a Dr...so 15 mins. it was)...only 2 find out, there wasn't even any intention 4 her 2 be @ school, period, yestaday :X (SOMEBODY COULDA SENT US A MESSAGE, LEFT A NOTE, SOMETHIN'...'STEAD OF HAVIN' US WAIT AROUND ALL THAT TIME LIKE SOME NUTZ)
THEN...4 my two classes both scheduled @ 3pm...the good news was that they were literally across the hall from each other...bad news was, contrary to my prior belief that one would actually mostly be an independent study course (my newspaper practicum), which meant I could just go ahead & attend the other one in its entirety (my Feature Writing class)...the teach 4 tha practicum was talkin' about she prefers that I'm actually in classes 4 tha lecture or some ish...
so after talkin' w/ the other teach, I ended up havin' to switch tha 2nd one 2 Thursdays @ 3 instead....& there wuz this cutie up in tha one yestaday!! :X lol, i know that shouldn't matter....but it certainly didn't help!
aiight, so THEN....i hit up a comp. lab after gettin' out of the practicum @ like 3:30pm (we weren't supposed 2 get out 'till like 4:15, but we got out early) 2 **** time...did that 'till maybe 4...
i got on the shuttle & rode that ish out until like 5:45 to **** MORE time...was tryna ride it until like 6:10, but i 4got the shuttle stops runnin' @ 5:45, lol...
so i get 2 class like a half-hour early...Spanish Phonetics, 2 start @ 6:30...& as the time is steadily approachin', 4 other females gradually arrive @ class...now get this...we're all there 4 SPANISH Phonetics, right? so TELL ME WHY teach comez in @ like 6:35 talkin' about he there 2 teach FRENCH Phonetics :X :X :X...he made it CLEAR that he does not know ANYthing about SPANISH...& NONE of us had any idea of what was goin' on...
so after spendin' all of FIVE MINUTES after he got there - all of us tryna figure everything out...we all left (including the teacher)...& said we'd check w/ the foreign language department 2day about the mix-up...
so i get a call this mornin' @ like 8:30...from one of the chicks...talkin' about some, there has to be at least 10 students enrolled in the class 4 the school 2 find us a teacher - instead of 5 students enrolled, LIKE IT USED 2 BE - so the class HAS to be cancelled :X :X :X :X :X :X
& the teacher who was supposed to teach it (the same I had for Intermediate Spanish I AND Spanish Convo.) no longer works w/ A&T, 4 some reason...which is ALSO why the only other option I had 4 a Spanish course in my minor curriculum - HISPANIC CULTURE - was ALSO cancelled :X :X :X :X :X :X :X :X :X

well....@ least my 9am was cool this mornin'....that professor is literally off tha chain...he brought my day up, havin' us laugh about some different stuff...talkin' about he was **** w/ Clinton not b/c he had the affair & did all the dirt...but b/c he got CAUGHT, lol
he said some otha thangz, but I think I've rambled enough....

i had PLANNED on droppin' 2night's course (Speech Phonetics 4 Non-Majors), since A&T took it upon itself 2 switch the time from Weds. from 4-6:30 to Weds. from 7:15 TA 9:45!!! what'd i'mma look like comin' outta class @ 10 o' clock @ night?!?!?!?
but NOW I AIN'T GONNA HAVE A DAMN CHOICE...'CUZ I GOTTA DROP THA DAMN SPANISH PHONETICS CLASS!!!
