I hear the big football game is September 11...does anyone have any info on whether we're sending a busload (or two...or...three) of students? If so, I'm on it.........
the last bus trip to HU 2 years ago was a LARGE FIASCO!!!
People were out of control....****, passed out in the floor of hotels.....people broke beds .....It was just out of control. And I was mad that I stayed out in the rain and watched HU lose like 65-0. I WAS HEATED THAT WEEKEND!
Am I the only one that noticed that there is a Freshman Bootcamp session on September 11... what Freshmen aren't supposed to go to the Hampton/Howard game??? I mean we know about the rivalry too... .THAT IS JACKED... Im goin to the game.. EFF THE BOOTCAMP!!!!

Girl, I've only been to bootcamp ONCE, and I didn't even stay for the whole session. A sista gotta eat lunch...........
^^^Thing is, Howard got this huge grant from the Kauffman Foundation. In return, Howard is letting the foundation "experiment" on its freshmen with the Entrepreneurship Boot Camp. Nobody knows much about it because it was all put together at the last minute, but the freshmen have to attend "mandatory" woorkshops, panel meetings, and team meetings (mandatory because they're a part of our freshman seminar grade) held every couple of weeks. Each team is supposed to create a business plan to be presented to judges from the foundation in October. Rumor has it the the winning three teams or so will receive either scholarships or a chance to actually start their businesses, depending on who you talk to. So basically, its a bunch of bull.
