Now that we're up on election time, what do you thing about Black conservatives? Are they the next big thing in Black politics, or do you thing they are misguided? If you consider yourself conservative, do you feel pressured to hide your political beliefs to be accepted? Is there a future for Blacks in the Republican Party? Just trying to spark some discussion... Holla!

Well I feel as though to pick a party is just no purpose. I mean pick the candidate who you most agree with on issues. I am not tryin to be ally with any partner. Both parties at time show there consistency in not caring for black america. If Democrats cared as much as they say they do or wanna pretend to care for blacks then we would have more than what we do. Each party has there flaws and postive aspect. so to choose one cause they are in your part to me is just stupid. Independend is the way for me. Because democrat and republic either way will say whatever necessary to get your vote then ignore you and your wants.

Outsourcing is just a way for greedy businessmen to continue to make millions...no billions of dollars off of other countries, while there are people in this country who have lost their jobs due to this and cannot feed their families. Kerry said he knows that you cannot completely eliminate the outsourcing of jobs, but he does want to make it fair so people in the US at least have the oppourtunity to work and find jobs. Oh and by the way...I keep hearing about Haliburton...I know it's Cheney's business, but what exactly is the deal with it.

I have no problems with black republican at all. Yea on many occasions I see republicans agreeing with blacks on certain issues but the same goes for the democrats. They are few people government officials that vote realistically on there beliefs. You cannot be mad at a person that vote on facts and facts alone, but their are few people that do that regardless of theirparty affilliation. The only problem I have with Republicans is that they have the wrong people at the forefront. How are you going to have someone at the forefront who is either misguided, misinformed, or just don't know or have a stance on issues. Certain Republicans I don't deal with because I know that they will say one thing and do another, Bush is a prime example. Remember at one time all blacks used to be Republicans, but switched to democrat when they started helping our race out more. There is no problem being proud about your party affilliation, but don't be arrogant, ignorant, or close-minded of other people perspectives because you can't force your views on anyone else.

what do you mean ahem..."helping us out more.."??? more food stamps? more affirmative action? all kind of sh!t that we don't need to prosper, and that has not helped us to prosper! i agree that there is racism in the workplace...no doubt about that. anyone who disagrees with this is an imbicile...but you shouldn't have to be forced to hire someone who is less qualified just because they're black!!! BUT I DO BELIEVE that there should be laws passed to make sure that work place hiring is fair...example: some white cat cannot dismiss a qualified black cat just because he thinks a black in the team would upset the environment there... i dunno sumtin' like that...

Passing a law to make sure that the work place is hiring fair? All that is going to do is jump off a sh!t load of lawsuits. Black people saying that them not getting hired was unfair, and white people saying that the Black owned company denied him a job b/c of . How would they go about making sure that all are hired fairly? It would be too easy to lie.
