To me, "back in the day" was during the 90s (which is gonna be for almost all of us).
Back in the day is singing "Weak" from SWV to the top of your lungs (male or female, we ALL sung the hell outta that one).
Back in the day is playing Tecmo Bowl on the Super Nintendo until your fingers bled.
Back in the day is watching WWF Rasslin on Saturday mornings (after Muppet babies and Ninja Turtles went off)
Back in the day is playin outside ALL DAY LONG.
Back in the day is having to call seatback when you get out ya chair on da porch
Back in da day is when ya grandma was the freezer pop lady and da lady next door was da candy lady
Back in da day was riding ya big wheel down da street while cars honk horns at you
Back in da day is when going to da batting cage was funner than amusement parks
Back in da day (like already mentioned) is playing duck hunt and mario kart till ya fingers fall off.
Back in the day was when hell and **** was a cuss word
Back in da day is when you had to write wit dem fat **** red pencils wit no eraser
Back in da day is having to go get ya own switch to get ya whoopin
Back in da day is when you couldn't get up from da table w/o eating ya vegetables, so you'd just put them in a napkin and act like you got to go to the bathroom.
