I been to both websites www.cau.edu and www.famu.edu. I haven't been to the campuses yet. I heard that Clark is located in almost down town in the dilapidated area. I was wondering if that was true. I would like to know the both the pros and cons of both institutions. Greatly appreciated.
I'd like to know why we have so many females too! Brothas maybe yall need to get it together! I'm playing, but FAMU and CAU are great schools, but it depends on the atmosphere. FAMU is large and impersonal, CAU is fairly small and everybody knows everybody else. Also it depends on your major. If you wanted to go into Mass Communications CAU is one of the best and one of the better HBCU's for that field. But like I said both are great schools and highly prestigious! However, while FAMU is great and all it will never be CAU and it will never have the prestige of being located in the "Black Mecca" Atlanta!!! lol

for peeps that go to CUA... can you fill me in on somethin because im kinda confused. I go to the website and see information online sayin that CUA is 75% female... what's the deal on that? Is dudes out of place at the school and its meant for females only? Just curious why the ladies outnumer the dudes at this school by so much.
First lemmie reply to this....talk to ya boyz...more females seem to be going to college than males. The men aren't out of place at all. U hear no complaints from there, plus u are forgetting that CAU is apart of the illustrious AUC (5 HBCU's together)....the male to female ratio is 1:1.25 so it's basically even. Plus your classes will have people from morehouse, spellman, and CAU in them. It's all apart of tha whole AUC vibe.
Next to tha FAMU person: I'm sure FAMU is close like a family but CAU is smaller and a benefit is that you will not only become a member of the CAU family, but you will also be apart of something bigger....the AUC. The AUC is juss like fam'....we may quarel among ourselves, but we're not going to let anyone else come up against us. So you'll end up with ya CAU fam along with ya AUC extended fam. NOTHING beats that.
