Okay yall here's the situation...Im tryin to go visit one of my gurls for the weekend, and she lives about 45 min from me. My mom is talkin bout she wont let me go. I just got off the phone with her, and she's tellin me that she has a bad feeling about it. And she doesnt want me to go. I keep tellin her that all we're gonna do is chill. Okay...but there is actually a lil somethin somethin else that we've got planned. But it aiint nothin harmful, we juss tryin to have some fun. It **** because I feel like this...Heck Im grown, and I know right from wrong. But she don't want me to go out there and act crazy. She dont understand that I can act crazy anywhere I go...No Matter who im with or where im at. How do I make her understand that Im getting older and she's gonna have to trust me to make right decisions??!!

true true. That's just the way it is. On the real, while i'm away at school, my mother and I barely communicate. She doesn't concern herself with where i am, what i'm doing, and who i'm with. Lady even says on many occassions "well, you're grown Kenya. Just be wise about your decisions.". But please believe when i come home for winter or summer break all of that is out the window :roll: :lol: . Not that she restricts me too much, i just get annoyed at that i have to tell her where i'm going, or if i'm out late, and sit and wonder if she's stressin. Fact of the matter is, when you're under their roof, you're their responsibilty.
When me and my mom have that issue we just have a serious talk about why she may not trust me and what she thinks might happen. Having an conversation with my mom helps clear up the child like image she might have of me.
And this dont EVEN work wit my mama! She's constantly trippin out on something, and when u try to TALK to her...it dont end up in nothin but an YELLING competition. And to me, it seems like she gets madder when ya dont yell back. I've tried everything wit her, and nothin seems to work. She's even real bad like this with my brother...and this **** is 25 years old! So its like I got 2 negatives against me...im the baby gurl and well...im a gurl! Sooo...yall could only juss imagine.
Anyways...she changed her mind. She's lettin me go after all. My dad had a nice talk wit her and told her that she was gonna have to learn to trust me. AND because of that...i have cancelled tha plans on the side. (well sorta)!

Well Kenya! If yer black **** wud get on AIM sometime...then I woulda told ya. But the left out info is, my gurls boyfriend is gonna be there and so is his cousin. My mama onlee didnt want me goin up there in the first place cause she was convinced that my gurl lived wit her man. And she didnt approve of that so-called life style! So I told her that they didnt live together. Basically I told her what she needed to hear.
