My twin is applying to Howard next week w/o the application fee. She's being ghetto and trying to get in without it, but if they say she needs it she'll come up with a way to get it, gotta be on that hussle 8)

Yeah my boyfriend did the same thing. In my mind i was thinkin this crazy **** is gonna get rejected because HBCU's dont play about their money... but guess what my boo got accepted without the application fee :lol: :lol: , so it might work for your friend
No, Chris... peeps just feed into what they hear. Don't sweat it... the people who ALREADY go to Howard are friendly with us; they know it's nothing more than a little old-fashioned rivalry... it's just everyone else who makes it seem like Hampton treats us like little kids or something and they get all mad even though they don't even go here :x ... but best of luck to everyone on applications.... I was worried about getting accepted into Hampton AND Howard, so I can identify with both sides...

nah...not necessarily...It's just that some ppl are attracted to some colleges and aren't attracted to others...really doesn't have to do with having a "bad rep"...I actually have no problem with Hampton...but I find Howard to be better for my major and plus I like Washington DC
^^^....You're right. I wish ya'll the best of luck at Howard. If you don't mind me asking, what made you guys choose Howard? I've never visited, but I hear it's just like Temple University as far as location within a city.
Cuz it's the real HU... you know ! Yeah and it is located in an urban area. It ain't the worst part of D.C., but some streets is a lil thorough in NW D.C. Fellas, you will meet your every now and then gangbangers tho, lol. The ****is more funny than serious tho, they mostly some fake thugs out there.
