I'm glad to know that there are other girls waiting just as bad as I am. I won't leave the house until the mail runs which is around 1pm. Anybody else going through the same madness? I have a question to someone who attends Spelman now- Are the girls really as stuck up as the sterotypes make them out to seem.

I'm sure you will be  in FIVE days! Omg it just hit me within 5 days we will know!!!!!!!!! Oh gosh- back to earth  On my spelman tour it was cool. My girl said that the girls were really down to earth and just working hard. My friend who goes to morehouse quotes "Morehouse men go to Morris Brown for Hoes, CAU for gfs and Spelman for wives b/c Spelman women are so dedicated and have so much on their platter " So, who knows. My family thinks I'm going to www.mercer.edu since they offered me a $7000yr academic merit scholarship. Well, let me stop rambling!

ok imma put it to u like this. I heard the same things about spelman, but once i got there i saw it was just filled with intelligent women who know they have bright futures. If you make it to spelman (good luck, i hope all you guys get in), you will understand wat i mean. Its just a feeling that everyone has. All the girls that i know are really cool and down to earth. But at the same time, we know that we are getting a good education at spelman, and thats something to be proud of. Im not going to be ashamed because i go to spelman, and im going to represent it. Its a really good school and i pay enough to go there so im going to be proud of it. Dont believe everything that u hear. If u were stuck up before u got there, then thats how ur gonna be, but going to spelman isnt going to make you stuck up. "There is no place like Spelman, and no one like a Spelman woman"

Spelman women aren't stuck up... As a ma of Morehouse across the street... I must say that Spelman has a lot of cool gurls who are going to be successful in the future. Many people develop the logic that Morehouse and Spelman students are stuck-up because we go to the number one schools for blacks and both our schools have legacies in producing leaders. It is assumed since we are in such an environment were success is manifest, that we develop this ego and look down on one another. However, we all are really students that love one another because we consider each other family. We are also a family that is head strong about education, graduating, and being successful in the World... I hope to see you all in the AUC in the fall of 2005! Good luck
