What is the purpose of everyone smaking Hampton. Hampton is a great black instituion that produces sucessful professionals. What is everyones obsession with Hampton University? Why is it the topic of everyone's conversations? Let me know because it is really starting to get old. You don't see Hamptonians spending their days talking about other institutions of higher learning unless it is time for the HU vs. NSU/HU games...and that is mainly people involved like band members or spirited Hamptonians...What is your purpose? Enlighten me!

I think it's a lil' too much ana(mosity) on this post. There's no smack talk fa real between Howard and hampton folks. I mean, yeah we talk smack at the games and stuff, but it never really goes beyond that. As long as yall keep sendin' Black folks out into the world to do positive things, yall are alright with me. Now, as far as Norfolk cats, I can't speak for them. I think yall ****'d them off 'cause I heard it's alotta beef between yall. Might wanna squash all that, not like it's that many HBCUs out there anywayz.

I see what Earn is talking about, though. It seems like it's ALWAYS a recent post about how Hampton ****. I mean, I asked a while ago, and I got no intelligent responses. So, Earn, my advice is to ignore them unless you feel like cussing them out. They will keep talking no matter what you do. When you make posts like this, it is an open invitation for them to just do it more.

I didn't need smart remarks...Yes it is a smack board I realized that...thanks! But on the real I just wanted a simple response as to why...It is just between HU and NSU and occasionally Howard....but it's not that deep if you don't have a reason just don't respond...as simple as that...

I mean really... yall gotta admit that every other week there is a new "I Hate Hampton" thread or someone done pulled up an old one just to put in their 2 cents... dont jump on my lil sis just because she misspelled a word and wanted to know why people do it.. it is a smack thread but there is "smack" and there is "ignorance" and honestly I think I know EXACTLY who she was refering to when she made this thread... so if it isnt you then really do you have to put her down??
And honestly there are many HBCU's to smack on and I can count atleast 3 that are active when the main topic is Hampton... so really what is the purpose?? Clearly for some its not smack.
