demmeri, so I'm guessing you are basing your entire opinion of an article in Essence that you read about the down low lifestyle and going to try to me that the DL lifestyle is only "brothas"? Wow, I refuse to believe that and if you feel that your opinion is a whole lot stronger than everyone else, I want to see the statistical figures and facts that you have about the DL lifestyle of the rate of "DL brothas" as you say who are putting black women at risk. I want to see the data you have collected to gather your opinion of this lifestyle.

Derby City, I really do strongly consider you do youw own research on this subject becasue there are wayyyy too many close-minded people on this site therefore you are only going to get this one-sided, condemning, conservative, religious viewpoint on the subject. If you are doing a report on marriage, DO research on the origin and development of marriage and it will provide you with more knowledge on why marriage is important and why its important to keep it sanctified. If you looking for information on the DOWNLOW lifestyle, find out the root of this term and how its being marketed in the media.
