Well I just got home for spring break, and my father surprised me by filling up a large tank he bought me a couple of Christmasses (sp?) ago with fish, right? I was so happy when I saw it.
BUT after reading information about the fish and how to care for them, I realize I AM NOT A PET PERSON. My fish are going to die, and it is going to be so sad.
I first realized that I wasn't a pet person when I was 4. My parents bought me a striped fish, I forgot to feed it and it died. Then around the age of 6, they bought me a turtle. I put a worm in the tank, and it strangled my turtle to death. Ever since then Ive been traumatized, and haven't even attempted to have another pet.
I hope Im not this bad with children!
Anyways, anyone got any tips on how to keep them alive or whatever?
Have you ever had a pet die, because of your lack of care-taking abilities?
well...3 of my little sister's goldfish died because the power went out during the ice storm and the filter turned off...
and my dog is damn near ****...I've had him for about 7 years...I haven't walked him since July, haven't WASHED him since July and I think he has ticks...I just feed him and give him water daily...then my father locks him inside his dog house at night because the neighbors were complaining about the barking...I don't have time to take care of a dog...we were gonna take him to the pound but we couldn't stand the thought of him getting euthanized...so he's still back there whimpering

Don't forget about the schools that has the mascot of a bulldog. There are other dogs that have been put as mascots but bulldog has been abused the most.
