Do we get to chose like what kinda roommate we have? Or is it just like random? I gotta feelin I'ma be in drew hall just like all the other freshmen tho. I hope it ain't a tow up lookin.
Most likely i will be in drew hall as well. But since i am a transfer student maybe they will put me in meridan :???: well guess ill wait and see
Most freshman guys end up in Drew and most freshman girls end up in the Quad. Drew has no air, so that's one of the biggest complaints of freshman guys, oh...and also cuz it's in the boonies. The Quad has 2 dorms that have AC, Truth and Crandall, and that's becuz they are newer dorms. Only catch is that u have to stay in triples and it's quite cramped. I was in "Heatley Wheatley" with no AC, but i had ample room. Trust, if u get u a nice lil fan, it grows on u. The beauty of the Quad & Drew is that u create a bond with alot of folks and u get to know alot of different freshmen.
Now don't get me wrong, there are exceptions. Alot of freshman girls who are on scholarship or just luck up, could end up in the Annex with AC and no communal bathrooms. But um...it ain't problem free, cuz we surely did have mickey mouse drama this year. Oh, and few freshman may get trickled into Meridian(co-ed), Carver(men), Slowe(co-ed), Cook (coed/athletics). I know alot of people who started off in these dorms their freshman year. It happens. Just try not to trip. You'll get your info in like early/mid summer (prayerfully lol). Just try to make the most of what you've got. That's key

Thanx for the info......I'll most likely be in Cook because i'm playing a sport....darn i know im gonna miss out on tha whole social thing......wit tha quad girls....

All i'm really worried about is if ill be able to room with my freind who is going to HU with me in the fall, because no matter how bad the dorms are we can make do. So what are the chances of choosing who you want to room with and actually getting that person? :???:
You can put in a request.... but itz all about getting there at the same time... thats all I can suggest
