yea... warmin the bench... i'll see ya then
one more thing... if you wanted to go to one and all that, why you so busy posting the negative instead of a few positive things... so yeah you really wanted to go... :???:
Warming the bench and proud....Give me about a year....just a undersized freshman offensive lineman...dun expect me to pull an Adrian Peterson now.. >=\...if you want some tickets holla at me...
by the way....I have posted the positive things....when I get back to school..I'll let you see the Presentation I gave to my English class a couple of weeks ago about HBCUs...Highest grade in the class.
This site really aint addictive no more...It has fell off big time...
What would you say is the cause for the site not being what it was? Just curious... Before I do any magic tricks, I'd like to get everybody's opinion.
To be honest with you...the HBCU site as a whole is fine..I think you have made great improvements on the site as a whole and all it has to offer...Its just that the message boards are lacking and thats really nothing u can fix. The message boards are lacking good threads, which is only something that can be fixed by us, the posters. I also think we need more gully people who keep it real....not necessarily to start drama or beef...but people who just tell it like it is and whatever happens from there happens.

that is true... and 3 threads of the same thing are gettin old... and it seems like the posters who make good topics about REAL issues in this forum always get knocked for doing the right thing... and then in some cases people get their feelings hurt when someone has a difference of opinion... like the whole Spelman/Nelly issue... everyone's gonna have different sides of the equation, and we can't do much about it, so just have to respect opinions and move on...

I think you guys are right in that it is not totally in our control to be able to flick a switch and make it hot like it was, but I do think the one big thing that we could do is encourage more people to take advantage of the message boards... There are over 250,000 registered users of hbcuconnect.com and only around 7,000 of them have message board accounts... What if I got it so that we have 20,000 message board accounts from the entire user population... I definitely think we would see some interesting action and characters pop up in here again...
