there is only 6 HBCU's that has an accredited Mass Comm department.
NSU is one of them and only 107 schools PWC and HBCU's have an accredited Mass Comm department.
I can tell you HIU is not one of them but of course not alot of thier schools are. Keep on keepin on NSU climbing up the Academic Ladder!!!!!!
It doesnt matter
accrediation is completely voluntary so if a school chooses not to seek it then they dont need to have it.
Temple or CAU (who are both known for their comm. programs) doesnt have accrediation
:o Damn i didn't kno that CAU didn't have accred are u serious?
Grambling State University's Mass Communication Dept. is fully accredited with four different areas to concentrate in:
*Broadcasting:
-Production Track (my area)
-Sales and management Track
-News Track
*News Editorial
*Visual Communication
*Public Relations
and might i say that it is a very good program. Trained me for my job i have at ESPN this summer.
I just love my major!!!!
