Your Style Posted on 06-29-2005

What set's u apart from all the other around you? Or do u even care about being different? For me it's my attitude. They say us Detroit people have a certain swagger about our self and we think we know it all. They say it shows in the way we talk, walk and dress. But my style this year will addidas im gonna lay off the air force 1's for a while try 2 step my game up in a different way. so what will u be doing diff

That's it right there. Chaka put it best when she said "i'm every woman". There is no clear way to define who i am or what my style is. I like the bohemian/afrocentric look, i like the sporty look, the glamour girl look, and the laid back/kickin it look. It depends on my mood...and what's clean in my laundry As for how i carry myself...with respect & class. I'm a finer woman. Tis all

I think my personality sets me apart from anybody else. I can't really describe it all in one post, and I'm not afraid of being myself. I'm good at doing things that best suit me, and I'm not quick to follow the hottest or latest trend(s). I have my own style, and I like it that way.

well i'ma cool down to earth person seriously. you know how folks say they laid back and down to earth but they really not, lol. There'll be times, well 70% of the time where I'm like "fukk it". I'm above average smart, funny, cool, down for sh!t, whatever. A lot of people jugde me by my cover e.g. teachers, counselors, other students whatever. Like one time I went to my advisor to drop a class and he immediately wrote me off as some dumb jock **** hood. He wouldn't even let me talk. He told me he was busy and to come back in like a week then told me to go ask the secretary for help :x . It seemed like he was getting all frustrated with me for no damn reason. Then when he pulled up my grades oh his attitude just changed. he even let me put my hat back on. He was all interested in what I wanted to do with my life and where I was from. Oh yeah soon as I walked through the door his first words were, "you're from atlanta aren't you?" but anyway all dats off subject. wit da clothes thing, i'ma white t, jeans/ball shorts, and J's type girl. When I want the cute girly look i'll put on some capri's or shorts or a jean skirt wit a small top. I aint really big on all the jewelry accessories. I got a silver herringbone, an invisible neckalace wit a cross, and my class ring.
