I believe he died of sadness. Yall ever hear people who lose something like a loved one or the inablity to do their passion and they die from a broken heart. I think that's what this was.

i was gonna come in here and tell yall 2 stop playin...but damn, i guess if its startin 2 be confirmed on news sites..he is...dats crazy...it hasnt been announced on tv (u would think at least BET would put SOMETHIN out there..stop showin the damn rerun of the awards...at least a lil scroll bar sayin anythin..damn)...dis is sad...another link to "Baby Makin" music and wedding songs of the past is gone...:cry:...i'm bout 2 make it a Luther moment here...

I hear about stuff like this all the time. That's why with a lot of couples when they lose their spouse, they soon die afterwards cause their heart just couldn't handle it. Well it's the same thing when people who get in car accidents and lose inabiltity, they die from all the stress. Luther already had health problem and just the added stress from therapy and trying to get back to "normal" was probably too much for him. But while Luther might not be here physically, he left us with music that will last for hundreds of years. A lot of people who leave this earth have nothing to leave but he left us with music of love.

Oh this is so sad. Mr. Vandross was a very gifted man. I just hope for his music like Megan said to be preserved and not rapped over/butchered.
