Just on Saturday around 1pm, I lost my grandfather (whos name I am PROUD to bear myself) after 83 wonderful years of earthly service. Although Im one of the more understanding/well adjusting members of my family, a lot of my younger cousins, uncles and aunts arent coping as well. If I could ask for yalls prayers for my family and the repose of my grandfather, itd be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God bless.
I just wanted to say sorry to wes, both of your families are in my prayers. I kno how it is to deal with death. Keep strong and stick by your family, they need you the most right now.
Your family is in my prayers as well. I'm sure he is in a better place, and i'm glad that he got to live such a long life. That is something to be thankful for.

You and your family (and Jamila's) are definitely in my prayers, brother. I lost my grandpops about 4 or so years ago, and it still seems like yesterday that we were talking about my future and what not. He always told me to never let my head down, and to speak with authority. He also told me that for every door that closes, another will open (kinda ironic...the door seemed to have closed on him at a rough time in our lives, but we kept on keepin' on).
So brother and sister, I lend to you and your families the same advice that he gave to me, just weeks before he passed: Always keep your heads up. God is walking this rough road with you all, and He will see to it that you all make it through the storm. In Jamila's case, sometimes the 'storm' is stronger when the person in topic died of non-natural causes. I've been there, and I know how rough it can be on you.
