I thought I was the only one whothought Rockafella / Def Jam does a ****-poor job of promoting their artists. Jay gets hyped up as this great businessman, but he does his artists foul. Everybody talks about how Kanye's so arrogant and cocky, but he doesn't wait on Jay to promote his stuff - he talks so much shyt, he promotes himself. Even the people that hate on him buy the album or stay tuned to see what he'll say next.
But **** like Beans, Bleek, Freeway, Teairra, and Young Gunz? People aren't gonna buy their albums off GP. They'll ALL stay one hit away their whole careers unless the label really gets behind them and promotes. So far, I don't see that happening.

same goes for Puff...I like and respect him but he the only person who will keep making money off Bad Boy cause none of his artists aint gonna ever put out hits with maybe the exception of Boyx N Da Hood and they on BadBoy South anyway...Bad Boy had its reign with #1 songs and platinum albums in the late 90s....Bad Boy aint sh*t no more.
Her album isn't all that....I only liked the beats to "Act Right" and "La", and for some reason, I like "Phone Booth"...
I'm glad I got to listen to this album beforehand tho...

yea I was surprised at how horrible that no daddy song is, I mean the video looks straight but the song is straight garbage. I liked Make her feel good but I'm not buying the cd.
i went to the Destiny's Child in Detroit. and she was horrible. they wuz really biggin her up tho. she "sang" some song called 'phone booth' and we wuz just ROLLIN! the title is really out there. tell me where is there ne phone booths-i ain't seen one.
her 'daddy' song is cute. i mean that cld be one of my jams. her 'make a girl feel' was cute and catchy.
i think Jay-Z messed up on this one. she prob gon have a few more hits. than thats it. how come he won't sign Beyonce. now that wld be major!!!
