Hi, I'm new to the board and I need some advice. I thinking about going to a HBCU in Georgia and live on campus. But, I feel like i'm too old (I'm 22) to start my education a campus. Can anybody give me some advice to help me feel comfortable about my college choices?
Truthfully, you're not too old to start your education at a college campus when you're 22 years old. The only advice I could really give you is to do the best that you can, and keep a positive outlook in life because your outlook determines your outcome.
It's not like you haveAGE:22tattooed on your forehead. Students probably aren't even gonna know your age anyway and even if they do know I'm quite sure they won't care. So it'll be alright. Go get that degree

lol, that's what I was gonna say. Even if they do know your age, so what? It's not like you have to hang around freshmen, if you don't want to. Meet some upperclassmen, and chill with them.
But yeah, 22 is not a big deal. You got people running around on most campuses from age 17-25, and if you go to a university you have people even older than that. So you're good.
