Hello everyone! Have you ever told anyone about a dream career or goal you have and they completely shot you down, as if you could never make it? I want to become a gynecologist and some people look at me and are like, "That's so gross!", "You'll never make it!" or "Trust me. You're making a mistake wasting your life trying to be something like that." So I look back at them and I'm like, "Yeah that's what I want to be and you'll be looking for me in a heartbeat if you ever get burned"
This happens to me all the time, when I'm asked what my future plans are. So I want to know. Has anyone else experienced this before.

All these future gynecologists in the house. I wonder what people would tell me if I said I wanted to do that. Lol. You better believe it'd be something alot harsher than " the number of pregnanicies have gone done." It'd be along the lines of "You pervert!" Lol.
^^^^Yeah, you got a point. I could only imagine what people would say. But there are quite a few male gynecologists out there.
Ya'll be straight. Pregnancies may have gone down but not the number of people catching STD's. You guys are still gonna be in demand.
basically...and i dont care what NOBODY says. people like fukkin too much. And alot women are still having unexpected pregnancies. You can trust and believe yall wont ever be going outta business, lol

This happens all the time. No matter how many people show you love, there's always gonna be haters. All you gotta say is fukk them and prove them wrong. People are always gonna doubt you, but never ever ever doubt yourself. Real talk.
I've had that all day everyday from 9th grade on... it's just motivation to do a whole lot better.... all day erryday, i use the "Dream Busters" to fuel my fire... :grin:

My major is Communications (which is the same thing my brother majored in years ago..but his was specifically Public Relations)
I want to do Radio and I AM makin moves........newayz...I have a job workin promotions with major record labels...Im interning but itz alotta work. I got another job at the mall and went through HELL im sayin they were racist and errthing. I was ready to quit and she was like NO YOU CAN DO IT... U NEED THIS JOB....but is so quick to tell me to quit my promotions job like.... u dont need this.. since when do I DONT need experience going into radio??? She even threatened to kick me outta the house if I didnt quit my promotions job.... so I did what any one in my situation would do....went lookin for somewhere else to stay..... i think she realizes Im serious about this........
But she still doesnt support it.
Dreambusters= Haters. If a person has time to sit there and doubt your ability to do something, they're probably miserable themselves. This guy once told me that I was crazy for wanting to be a psychiatrist b/c I'm gonna be in school for so long b4 I get into my profession. So I asked him what he wanted to do with his life, and he said he wanted to skip college all together and become a garbage man for the city of Newark. :???: Whatever! I use that negative energy to push me forward, so when I finally do reach my goal, I can say that even though they thought I couldn't do it, I did it anyway.
