simple question...what the hell is the deal with EVERYBODY wearing those rubber wristbands???...it's like it just popped up overnight...or are they just big down here in Atlanta
yeah i've noticed that every since the LIVESTRONG there are a lot. at first i just thought it was something that my high school football team was wearing until i learned the meaning of them. i only have the one from my high school that says RAIDERS, the relay for life CELEBRATE LIFE, and i want the one that says AGGIE PRIDE so i guess i have to steal one from somebody.
i know i used to see alot of atheletes wearing em (like basketball players)...well...non pro. This b-ball player that i know at HU had one on freshman year and i was like "what is that for?" and he was like "i dunno. Just a habit. I'm used to wearing something around my wrist when i'm ballin". Then i got into alot of community service and see em all over.
I'm a big supporter of **** cancer awareness, but i opt for the tiny lil pink ribbon instead. That flimsy lil bracelet would clash with alot of my outfits/jewelery. I'm a fashionista
I think when TI came out with Rubberband Man somebody got this idea to market rubberbands. Realizing that you just can't really market a rubber band plan he decided to put different slogans on it. That's my theory.

I've had my Livestrong band for a year and I don't plan on taking it off soon. I also had a **** cancer band but it was too big and it didn't come in kids sizes. So I just wear my LS band and my S.Carter Can't Knock the Hustle band. The LS band is for the fight, S. just cuz!
dudes have been wearing those things like forever. I know I started like when I was in the 10th grade and that was like hmmm 03-04 and I was paying like 20 dollars for the like rubber nike ones. They were hot to me back then cause it was different. I would rock like the pink ones, and the white ones to match the outfits...haha but like now, everyone wears them. Like especially like the lebz at my school. I guess its their code or something.
Yea those things are everywhere. Even my professional development professor had a pink one on in class monday night. I guess they are for a good cause but they aint for me...they're " too trendy. " They started out for a good cause now alotta folks simply wear them for fashion...That aint me.
