Tell that to our government. They've just demanded tapping into our emergency 'stash' of ****.. Sure it will help us for the next (insert projected time here). Too bad it wont help much in the long run.
The REAL way to solve this whole problem is to rid ourselves of dependency of **** from other countries (who couldn't give a ****about America anyway).
You can have **** refineries surrounding the whole country....2 of them every 20 miles, even...but until we are totally independent with it, things like this can, and will, happen.
the thing that upsets me the most about this is that our "FRIENDS" are not helping at all...did any of you know that mexico has the fourth largest **** source in the world? why arent that they shipping us some aid? dont gimme that mexico is poor ish....i know...i also know that mexico's illegals are taking advantage of our social programs and that they are hurting our schools by bringing down the learning curves and schools get less money...this is very frusturating...
