post game analysis: That was a bunch of crap... Jason Brown Drew Hall J/P Hampton simply executed as they did against Jackson State by keeping the game close and playing until the last minute. Howard began the game by scoring twice in the first quarter. Their defense was dominant and their offense was hard to stop. This let up as the game went on and hampton scored it's first touchdown in the second quarter making the game 12-7. The second half was simply bad football. Hampton continued it's inconsistent offense while Howard, somehow, found a gun to shoot themselves in the foot over....and over....and over....and over....yes, and over again. Their offense became inconsistent, it seems as if their special teams gave up more yardage than their defense, and while on that subject, did the long snapper grease up his gloves up before the game or something? Howard made vital mistakes and Hampton certainly took advantage of those mistakes, particularly the interception, which was returned for a touchdown, thrown by senior quarterback, Donald Venters. It seems as if Howard laid down for the lost as they punted the ball with under 5 minutes left in the game. Every one of Hamptons units put points on the board, but when it all comes down to it......they STILL have no curfew. Jason Brown Drew Hall

If you would of saw the game you would of seen that howard beat themselves more than hampton did. They truly don't suck as much as they did in the past. I think A&T might be suprised. Not to say they'll beat A&T, but it will be a game that could go either way. I'll give hu top 4 to 3 in the MEAC this year tho.

Yeah, and Arturo Gatti will beat Floyd Mayweather in a rematch.

sorry... that's a lil too biased for me.... :???: Howard already lost to one of the top three teams in the MEAC... they gotta play SC State and A&T, who are the other two top teams... keep in mind A&T had a decimated roster last year.... HU is NOT top three... B-CC, is always a threat.... they ain't even top 4... and that's going by facts, not bias... Hampton and SC State are the top two... and then you can toss up B-CC and A&T...

I knew Hampton would win...I mean I was suprised when I saw 12-0 HoU...but then HIU started coming back. I'm just looking forward to my team hopfully rebounding next week against Howard after tonight's sacrifice against I-A South Florida.

Dammit we almost won. I don't think we got a first down the entire 2nd and 3rd quarters. Can't win like that. Not to mention the kicker was kicking the ball out of bounds and they got big returns just about every time they got the ball. Our arses should have probably just stayed on the ground and run the ball on that 3rd down play before the game-winning interception. DREW HALL - 4th FLO!!
