Hello, Im actually a senior in high school now but intend on attending in fall 2010. Im interested in the School of Business ( marketing ) but am also interested in PR. I was told that I cat really major in marketing and minor in PR. I can only take classes in the school of communications for their PR classes, but must maintain my gpa for both schools. Would you recommend that I have a major and minor? Im really shaky on what I should do because I like business and writing (PR). And i was also told that my schedule would be really hectic and stressful. Should I just major in Marketing and worry about PR later? Give me some advice please
I just recently applied to Howard University Undergrad. When I use to log into the Database I was able to view my application etc. Now recently When I log it it brings up the tabs as If I have never applied. What does this mean? Does it mean they are reviewing my application? Or Do they have it? Cause if my mother recives a bill that she has been charged and my app is not even being reviewed it will not be a pretty picture. Should I be worried?
I am having the same problem HowardBound. I have recently called to admissions. The only thing they told me was that I would get information no later than Dec.24th. Have you callled admissions?
Yeah, the School of B and the School of C will not let you cross major/minor. So I suggest that you decide which one you are more interested in. Also check our US News and World Report to see what some of the hot careers will be in 10 years. You can also google the information as well. I believe PR is a fast growing field and may have lots of job growth and stability in the long run.

If you were able to view it once before and it is no longer available, there just may be a computer malfunction. Also double check with the Admissions Office to make sure all of your application materials were received.
Most applicants who applied between Oct and early Nov will usually hear something soon. Howard typically sends acceptance letters out around the first and second week of December.
