From current Howard students what would you guys say are ABSOLUTE neccesities for incoming students planning to reside at Howard?...and what simple things did you forget in your transition to HU that you would deeply encourage them to remember to bring??????

Is there any HBCU that allows small animals?
Not at Howard University. I've seen people with small fish tanks in their rooms, but that was against the rules.

So I've heard... but that's usually because people get them extra large cages and can't clean it as often as they should.

I refuse to pay for gym memberships...they are OVERPRICED! Anyway, Howard does have a gym and some dorms have work out equipment (Cook, Drew and East and West Towers). Some dorms have fitness classes just for fun or for those who are interested. I know there was one in Meridian...I used to walk by the class all the time because I CLEARLY was not tryin to exercise back then lol
