I did pretty decent in math. I got a A in almost every class except for geometry and thats only cause of partner projects and terrible final grades. I'm goin to the school of arts and sciences anyway so I don't think I'll take that much math. Is it any other placement tests that I'm goin to need to take?

Um... they use your SAT scores for english placement...but...on the first day of class you are required to write an essay in class and if you dont do too well on that, be prepared to enroll in a lower English class (CAR).

The essay thingy really isn't that difficult tho. If u had basic English, know how to spell, know how the difference between an introduction and a conclusion, you'll be alright.

I somehow got Calculus 1 and I haven't even taken calc in h.s. I probaly take algebra 1or 2 seeing that calc isn't going to be too useful to my future.

So do you have to take this exam before attending HU? I haven't taken it yet but just planned on taking Alg 2. Also if I have to take it, when does it have to be completed by?

I believe it has to be done. I'm not 100% sure tho. Go to www.howard.edu and check out the new student orientation under prospective students. The math placement test is under that same option.

I advise you to go with what ever the placement test says...because College math...let me rephrase that...HOWARD math isnt like high school math.
