i mean i really wanna do TV but radio would work just as well. and sixthangel wat is a smarttrip card is that for the bus or somethin
TV is hard to break into. Most folks want a certain look or style or want you to be able to speak a certain way. I would suggest the best way to get your foot in the door is through internships.
I personally would choose radio. It seems like waaaaaay more fun being a radio personality. There are lots of radio stations that offer internships also through Howard University.
Usually there are lots of girls interested in Howard, but its good to see 2 guys on their grind and getting ready for college.
And both are Communication majors like me! Yay!
yea and i have heard the competion level is pretty high for tv but yea radio would be cool with me to im just gonna have to do everything possible to get my foot in the door
ok i see that most people on here want to go to howard...i think howard is a good school too but im having a little situation. ..and i think i need some advice...I REALLy want to go to Spelman. howard was my 2nd choice. I got accepted to both but Howard gave me a full tuition scholarship. spelman hasnt given me anything yet and im waiting for financial aid but i doubt they will give me anything. Should i pass up a full tuition to howard to follow my dream??..tell me wat u think
I am more than a little upset right now. I just got an email today saying they are still waiting on my app, which was sent in the first week of feb. They better find my stuff and fast because april 15 is coming quickly. This is so like an hbcu, sad to say but true.
Should i pass up a full tuition to howard to follow my dream??..tell me wat u think
In my opinion, I would take the full scholarship.
You have to ask yourself 2 questions:
1. Can I afford to attend Spelman out of pocket and how will this effect my financial situation in the long run?
2. What does Spelman have or can provide for me that Howard cant/doesnt?
So its official!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was accepted to Howard University today!!!
Aight, Congratulations!
Now you have work to do:
1. Make sure you submit your housing deposit and information so that the spaces dont fill up on you. You need a place to stay/live on campus!
2. Sign up for Pre-Orientation so that you can register for fall classes in the summer and take all of your placement exams.
