man! I am gettin' hype just thinking about it. I cannot wait until August 9th (thats when I ship out for DC) Freshman week will prolly be one of the few times I get a chance to party and "show ma a$$, go on hit the flo" (lol, that J Kwon song had me rollin').....I kinda wanna take the Honors program seriously. and a question, is it good to bring a big trunk? Or just bring like two duffld bags of your neccessities and then have your parents ship the rest of your stuff out to you??
Dang girl, yeah u are comin out early. I'll be in dc around the 8th or 9th, and that's only becuz i have some retreats to attend to get ready for orientation. I'm guessing you're stayin with fam, cuz i had to get housing approved to move in that early. But hey...maybe i'm wrong. And oh yeah, since i came all the way from Cali, I brought suitcases for the plane, and my mom shipped a trunk and some other boxes so they would be out there by the time we arrived. That would prolly be your best option.

yea, ok, to the person, or people, who want to know why I"m coming out so early, I live in Cali and me and pops duece is driving. So i say it'll take about 5 or 4 days to get to DC, getting me there just in time if we leave on the 9th. and good lookin' for the advice concerning the trunk situation. i hope to see all of you face to face in DC!!!!

I feel you. I wanna make sure I start off on the right track. I don't wanna have to play catch-up. Plus I have that scholarship and post undergrad to keep in mind.

Ohhhhh, u guys are drivin from Cali. Oh snaps...yeah, that's some distance right dere. Yeah, depending on what kinda car u guys are taking, u might wanna just try to fit whatever necessities u can and just ship the additional stuff ahead of time, so it'll be there for u when u arrive. If u have a truck, van, or sumthin that'll hold alot...u should be ok tho. And oh yeah, if ya see my face, feel free to holla. I won't look at ya funny. Promise. lol
