NOW HOWARD WHICH I AM A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED ABOUT DOESNT REALLY HAVE AN OFFICIAL PROCESS FOR FRESHMAN LIKE SAYYYY BETHUNE COOKMAN WHOS FRESHMAN HAVE A SUN VISOR AND CAN NOT GO WITHOUT WEARING IT UNTIL HOMECOMING......BUT YOU ARE STILL A FRESHMAN AND FRESHMAN SHOULD STAY IN THEIR PLACE

The all coveted Validation Sticker is the thing that seperates the paid from the nonpaid... scholly people get ours in the mail.. others.. the line is hecka long for that one.... it basically says that you go to Howard, and you have paid tuition and everything is squared away.... I know a guy that got validated in May for the previous school year.. I guess its never too late... You get one of these bad boys every semester.... DO NOT LOSE YOURS B4 YOU GET TO SCHOOL.. cuz they are MAD stingy w/ them... even to scholly students...

Actually, not just scholly people get their validation sticker in the mail. I get mine in the mail and I don't have a scholarship from HU. Its only if your tuition isn't paid before you get to school for the fall or spring semester because if it is then you get it in the mail.
^^^there's just too much damn testosterone.. there were a couple of brawls @ Carver (Superbowl SUnday) and @ Drew (all day e'ry day)......

lol. I was at that brawl at Carver. It was funny as hell to me. Woulda thought the dudes would be payin more attention to Janet's **** than tryna look hard. I don't even know what the cause was. Prolly sumthin dumb.
other things to know:
:arrow: UGL (undergraduate library) is NOT a place to study. People call it "Club UGL" for a reason. Now if ya wanna socialize...go to the library. Ironic isn't it?
:arrow: Gettin smart with locals just might cost u your life. Please believe, they already thinks you're snobby, rich, and fake from jump. Don't make it worse by provoking em. If they say "hi", your behind better get chipper like Mr. Bentley. Especially to the ladies
:arrow: network your **** off. Get to know your professors (they will remember when grades come around), get to know administrators, student leaders, cafeteria workers (they'll give ya a lil extra food :wink:, or let ya slide without a ya ID...i had a few of those days). Alot of opportunities come from "who u know" at HU. We all know it's all about the "hook ups".
:arrow: Goin to the Ilab is not guaranteed to always be a pleasant experience. Bound to be no paper, no ink, comps might eat up ya disk, no open computer. It's always sumthin
:arrow: The ethernet will screw u over, and always right when u need it the most (procrastinating on a paper...what i do often). And you'd think that "technology fee" that we're handin over would ensure some decent internet access.
My bad about the misinformation.. Well... As long as I got mine, I'm straight... good lookin out Cupcake...
