& I remember Power Rangers was the big thing @ that time, so u had to have some pogs & slammers with Power Rangers characters on 'em!!
anyway, whenever I go "back in the day," this always slips my mind - I just want to know if ya'll remember them....
Who rememberz playing 4-square? And u would make up all these rules like Dirty, popcorn, Treetops, Cherry ****. U know u ghetto If u used ta sit in tha back yard and play 4-square, Kickball, and ish like that. Oh yeah forgot to tell ya, I'm tha Kickball Champion of Memphis ,TN. Cuz of that I got major Clout. 8) 8) 8)
Man... Four Square used to be my shizznit!! When I was in middle school, we would always play against the regular students in the school (I was in the Magnet school, everyone else were led "regular" students), Whoever was king would call all those freaky **** rules. But when one of us got in the king square, we'd call regular ans f*ck er'rybody's day up... :twisted:
Nah, never did the POG thing. I didn't see the point. It was kinda like those Magic cards, and then those Pokemon cards. I was into video games. Wow, ya'll had some special NES stuff. I got it the year it came out or the second year it came out. I had all the stuff (zapper gun, power pad, and later the power glove) but all my stuff was plain gray though.
Power Rangers? That show was wack. The original one along with the 5 or 6 different versions of Power Rangers that came later. It wasn't nothing but a cheap rip off of Voltron (but most of ya'll probably weren't born until the mid or late 80s, so ya'll wouldn't know nothing about Voltron).
Four square was tight! I remember all those little tricks too (cherry ****, bobbles, popcorn, and all that). Kickball was cool too, but after folks grew up it wasn't fun anymore cause everybody would kick the ball way out into the outfield, and no one would want to go get the ball...
