HAMPTON UNIVERSITY...THE REAL MUTHAPHUCKIN HU
HOLLA
lol the only thing that makes yall even a TINY bit close to where howard is, is winning a damn football game, now think about that once our homecoming begins and yall have your jazz band playing "by the sea"
and HUSH HAMPTONBEAUTY WITH THAT NICE NONSENSE , THIS IS A RIVALRY, THIS AINT THE BARNEY SHOW, SAVE THAT KUMBAYA ISH FOR after THE BASKETBALL SEASON!...lawd help the poor freshmen, but we still love ya ha ....yeah we gonna tear into it, come basketball season, LACROSSE, TRACK, SOCCER, BOWLING....ummm spades, madden
Yea we're gonna see who tha REAL HU is by playing spades and lacross lol...that was funny
it's all good tho I aint even gonna front over half of tha Hampton student body considered goin to tha Mecca at one point in time or another...but they ended up at Hampton...so yeah we'll see y'all in DC next year, aight? Maybe we'll make it nine in a row...
Awwww...HamptonBeauty...it's all love. Please believe that when i say what i say it is just jokingly. Just like u said...u don't take it lightly when someone insults your school, so i noticed the post and of course i'm gonna respond becuz Howard is my baby. Point blank. But when i do it, i'm just doing it for fun. I have love for Hampton...hell, i applied there! And i bet most Hampton student can say the same about The Mecca.
I noticed in another thread that the classifications at Hampton have a lil friendly rivalry. Freshies rep theirs, sophies do their thing, and i'm sure the juniors and seniors hold it down as well. But at the end of the day, every class joins together to pump up the entire school right (like at the game)? Well the same could be said for HBCUs. We have friendly rivalries...but let somebody talk down on just ONE of our schools and it's on. Don't trip, i have love for the institute
btw...Madden & Spades...ha, u crazy Shoya. . I know one that HU females would love, a "fashion competition". Ha, won't see ME in that one tho
It would help if the person who started this topic knew how to spell... Bison is B-I-S-O-N, not how u spelled it. Second as I posted to another topic ...
Okay, so what Hampton won. & so what yall won last year & the year before or maybe even years before. What it all boils down to is that Howard is the REAL & will always be the REAL HU... I believe we've been HOWARD UNIVERSITY (HU) SINCE 1867... & Hampton has been Hampton Institute since (who cares, not before 1867) and turned into Hampton Institue/University or Hampton University (as they prefer to be called) AFTER 1867. So it's past who has the best football team & what not... it's basically who is really the REAL HU!
I BELIEVE HOWARD IS... GO BISON!!!
 Oh pleeze! We all know that 90% of hbcu students do NOT go to the game for football. Most peeps can't name who scored the winning touchdown, what was the best play of the game, or who kicked the field goal in the 3rd quarter. But i bet everybody can name what celebrity was present or who's outfit was on point
 It's all about the band. And yall was puttin folks to sleep. Yall flag girls weren't doin a dern thang, but looked tired as hell like they had been runnin around a track, the choreography was WACK, music selection was BLAH, folks weren't even coordinated. The best part of it was when yall walked off the field
 We just play football for fun. That's a lil sumthin to do on the side for playtime . When it's time for the degrees & the careers, we get the job done (check alumni list). So when Hampton students are WORKING for Howard students, maybe we'll all just sit around and chuckle about football
This sounds about right! I'm please that alot of people know this. Oh yeah, I forgot... of course it would come from a HOWARD STUDENT because HAMPTON really don't have no-one to brag about. & it's more than bragging, it's being happy that graduates of HOWARD do things with their lives.
Last I checked, more and more people that are in the news with success stories such as winning Tony Awards, Miss America, & etc. (don't want to hurt Hampton's feelings) are from HOWARD UNIVERSITY. & as my fellow Bison pointed out... it'll get to that day when we're the bosses & you guys are the employees, that we can LAUGH  @ how you guys beat us in football, until then keep laughing amongst yourselves, while we're laughing amongst ourselves about WHO CAME FROM HAMPTON ON TOP... REMEMBER I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT FOOTBALL!!!

With all of your "famous" alumni...they certainly do not give back to "the Mecca" like they should. Most of Howard's money comes from the federal government, and the fact that your alumni giving rate is so low is one reason why you guys are not a Tier 1 Research University. You probably didn't know that, but then again, if you really did your research, you would also find that Howard University's original name was NOT Howard University. Check up on that. The Institute thing is sooooooooo 20 years ago. Get a new chant.
As for the real HU, Hampton is the BETTER HU, Howard is the GHETTO HU. Watch out on Georgia Ave. Remember what happened at Georgia Ave. Day in '01

 Correction..."MOST" of our funding does NOT come from the gov. Just a percentage. Each year we go to Congress along with IVY LEAGUE schools to defend that our school is just as competitive and up to par to receive money from the government which. We rightfully EARN the money becuz of the programs that we implement. According to recent reports from the U.S. Dept. of Edu., HU contintues to be the nation's largest on-campus producer of African American PH. D. recipients. In addition, US News rated us one of the top 100 research universities in the country...so bump what ya heard patna

 Yeah, we're in the ghetto. Is that a problem? Black folks get a lil higher education in their lives and all of a sudden their too good for the hood. I was raised in the hood, so i'm not ashamed nor am i quick to diss it. That's where my people are. Why should i run from it? Just gives HU a bigger opportunity to reach out and make a difference.
 Just becuz a school is in the ghetto, does not mean the school is ghetto. USC is deep in the inner city of South Central LA, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it is one of the top institutions in the country. Same goes for Howard. We are in the heart of the nation's capitol, with an array of internships, job opportunities, and a variety of events/activities to get involved in. But then again, it must be nice to hit up Wal-Mart for kicks

lol speaking of fashion, im trying out for the HU fashion show to be a model(like im gonna make it but i was dared  ) wish me luck lol...oh yeah to the person talking about the HU giving rate...umm this cat doesnt know how to research if they even knew what they were talking about they would read about the HU campaign to raise 250 million for the school, that was started in march 2002, AND IN A LITTLE OVER 2 YEARS WE HAVE RAISED OVER HALF OF OUR GOAL, AND NONE OF IT CAME FROM THE GOVERNMENT....now ummmm what were you saying
